Atlanta Airlines Terminal Company at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport
Summary:
Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, also known as the world’s busiest and most efficient airport, is partnered with Atlanta Airlines Terminal Company (AATC), a privately held organization that operates and maintains over 7M square feet at the airport. AATC contracted out TRAX Analytics in 2019 to provide innovative and industry-leading solutions to support the janitorial operations at ATL Airport.
Initially installed at 36 restrooms, TRAX was contracted out in 2022 to expand its TRAX Clean+Inspect and TRAX SmartRestroom solution to an additional 66 restroom locations.
Each location is equipped with a video analytics-based people counter that counts the throughput of each restroom bi-directionally. Bluetooth beacons are strategically placed inside the entrance and back of the restrooms, which are tied to the TRAX Clean+Inspect mobile application, to monitor janitorial activity and quality control.
Existing AVIUS passenger feedback tablet data was then integrated into the platform so that the TRAX system could analyze passenger usage, janitorial activity, quality control, and passenger feedback scores on unified dashboards.
TRAX also created customized reports for AATC that incorporated their daily metrics, goals and baselines, and KPIs over a 33-day period, which are emailed to them every morning.
AATC continues to evaluate new technology released by TRAX and new integrations from other vendors to determine what data will bring the most operational value to the organization and the airport..
